An unsettled summer's day allows patches of sunshine to crash through the piles of clouds blowing up over the mountains of Snowdonia and the waters of the River Glaslyn (North Wales).

Tricky scene to capture as the riverside flowers are about 4 feet tall and I need to stand on an old wall, not wide enough for the tripod, to get the shot.

Beautiful! I love all the different compositional elements and colors. I do like the interplay of shadow & light.

Beautiful colors and light. The flowers look great as do the clouds.
I might brighten the upper part of the tree a bit.

I love this kind of light. The clouds are amazing. I love how the trees are highlighted so brightly yet the mountains are in shadow. Great image!

Many interesting elements competing to be the subject.

Pretty scene and excellent DOF, especially with a medium format sensor.
