Gods Window is situated on the Drakensberg Escarpment in Mpumalanga,South Africa and is so called for the panoramic views of the Lowveld more than 900m down into lush indigenous forest clad ravine. The majestic cliffs plunge over 700 meters to the Lowveld and is just a small part of a 250km long geological earthwork of sheer cliffs and majestic mountains.

You have to click on this to bring in the darker surround, then it starts to sing! Certainly an amazing view Pete.

Wonderful scenery, but the horizon smack in the center makes it look snapshotty. Instead of describing the 700 meter plunge in the caption you could have shown it in the picture.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
