Mount Watkins in Yosemite Park is not exactly a household name. I Didn't know it myself, until I looked it up when processing this image. Half Dome, my intended subject, didn't reflect in Mirror lake at that time. So I looked for a substitute, and I'm really happy with what I found.

EOS 5D2, 21/2.8 ZE @ f/5.6
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Some times you just get lucky and you sure did. This is a very pleasing landscape with some real interest in the reflections. Good hunting!!!!

A lot of potential in this. I find the left a bit messy and distracting, expecially the bank in the lower left corner. I think cropping 1/4 from the left and 1/4 from the bottom makes this image so much stronger.

Nice find, I may have moved my camera a little higher and to the left, I even think a vertical could have worked on this. Great exposure!

Really nice with a lot of areas of visual interest.
The oof lower left corner distracts somewhat.

Lovely light and reflections. Agree with the cropping suggestions.

Very nice.
