At this time of the year the sun sets directly off this part of the North Wales coast,  which means if you time the tides right you can maximise the sea-weed covered boulders.

If the tide is especially low you can mange to get to some really nice ridged rock formations, but you have to be careful not to get cut off - as the tide comes in very quickly and will leave you no where to go; unless you can climb vertical cliffs  :-)

So on one of the very few days a year where the low tide, matches sunset it was a case of the sunset taking place behind a load of cloud; oh well, better luck next year !

I like the lines of the rocks leading to the horizon. The hint of light behind the clouds is nice too.

The foreground really leads your eye into the BG. Nicely done! The centered horizon works on this image!

They really look like creatures coming out of the sea! Nice contrast with the green and blue!

Very unique and interesting shot. The greens are exquisite. I do wish the rocks weren't blue but overall this is a great photo.

Thanks guys

Taking onboard what E.J. said about the rocks being blue - and as I looked I agreed with his comments.

Here is another working with slight adjustments to the colour temperature and some specific temperature tweaks on the rocks - which as I now look at it seem to be more how I remember them and especially the green weed is back to their real colours.

Any thoughts - is it an improvement ?

Thanks

Phil
