After a day of heavy rain, it was the right time to head into the mountains of Snowdonia as banks of low cloud rolled over Mount Snowdon. The more direct side-lighting of the setting sun would have been welcome, but it was only to be the odd patch that hit the clouds and the rocky flanks of the mountain.
