Light and Shadow

Worked on some older shots. Wasn't sure about this one, I like the contrast and crazy directions the lines and elevations are taking. Also it is perfectly straight and doesn't need a CCW rotation, that is the angle at which the mountain in the distance rises. Want to know if this image works for you guys or not (working on adding images to my new website). Also what looks like posterization up top is a really faint cloud.

I like it very much. The great big shadow in the middle of the picture is actually good and makes your mind imagine how the mountain looks like..

Nice tonal range. I have mixed feelings --- it's the ripples in the sand that holds my interest.

I agree with Gary....I too find the f/g sand is the part that holds my interest.
Cropping the top out completely may be an option.

Well the foreground is supposed to be the main draw. I personally like the mountains, but its subjective.
