This was taken while scouting for the workshop I am leading for naturescapes, in the Great Smoky Mountains. Looking forward to a great week with the group.
Happy Earth day!

WoW -- like the layers and the tones that go from darker to lighter. Is that the sun rising in the upper left? Well, this really grabbed me and I think this is special.

Thanks! Yes, this was moments before the sun appeared over the horizon. That little bright spot, is the sun just about to rise.

Beautiful color and I too like the gradation of tones with the ridges.

Wonderful transition of colors and tones from top to bottom. I also like how the evergreen is peaking out through the bottom. It gives me a sense of height. Lovely work.

Thanks Garry! Nothing special with the tech details. ISO 100, f/16, 3 secs.
