Getting to the temples of the Sun and Moon in Capitol Reef National Park is no walk in the park. You must ford a river, follow a minimally maintained dirt road and either camp nearby with no water or other facilities or get up very early in the morning in the park campground and and drive in the dark. In either case, scouting the route in advance is essential. And it is NOT recommended following any rain because the river rises rapidly. All that being said, just being there at sunrise is awesome.
