This area always fascinates me but I struggle to find a good color image. Since my last trip was an intense B&W workshop ,I seem to have found a new love for the B&W days of my earlier years.

very nice, with a good curve, although wish it would continue more into the image, also maybe a bit too black in the distant mountains, I would open up the shadows a bit.

An impressive composition. My first thought was that it is too dark at the top of the image, but as I look at it longer, the darkness keeps my eye wandering around that road in the fore-ground. Beware the darkness!

Tony, thanks for the comments. I had the same feelings about the darkness of the mountains in the background especially the upper left portion. However,as I reworked the image the darkness thyme seemed to draw me back in and I was more comfortable with the overall feel of the image. Thanks again for the comments.

Love the B&W conversion and progression in tonality from front to back.
