Mid-June last year in Baxter was extremely wet and the black flies were swarming. Lightroom's healing brush does a good job on black flies as well as dust. :)

Some will like this comp....some won't.
I do feel it could use some added contrast overall though.

The near/far effect provided by the tree trunk is great. Im just not sure if splitting the image for it is worth it.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
