Headlands seem to grab the ocean like the fingers of a hand. Between Ragged Point and San Simeon.

EOS 5D2, EF 135/2 @ f/8
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Lovely layers here Jens, and what a beautiful coast line. Is this Orgeon?

Beautiful image and mood Jens. Northern California is a magical place; and your image captures a lot of the good feeling that is present there.

Best Regards,

Roman :-)

The mist gives this an "other-worldly" feel. I find the out of focus FG a bit distracting.

No. It's the south end of the Central California Coast. Oregon is where you get the finger from little old ladies.

Interesting mist effect.
I think I would prefer it without the oof left side f/g grasses.
