This trunk was in the "right" position in this beach, I just had to wait for the tide come down a bit. Please click in the image to see a larger version

Love what you are doing with capturing the wave action in your shots, but I am not sure about the focus of the comp being about the stump. As usual though, your exposure is spot on.

Many thanks to all for the comments. Jon, with the same composition I have several images at different distances and for me this is the one I like. Furthest from the trunk loses attractive in my opinion, thanks again.

Hi

I think the composition works beautifully – I like the motion implied by the watery effects and the lines crafted. A stunning in my book at least

All the best

Love the balance of this composition, between the old trunk and the rock stack. And brilliant water movement; it looks as if the trunk is being sucked down a plug hole!

Beautiful composition. I like the sweep of the wave. As always, I think this shot would look great in BnW!

Firstly, I think the comp is spot on, the wood is the subject, otherwise you would not have highlighted in the title of your image. Had the stump been smaller in the frame, it is no longer the focus of the image. So, I like what you have done...

As always, your exposures are full of drama and energy, great work.

Thirdly, it looks more like a skeleton Camel than a dinosaur :-)

Gorgeous capture Jose. I love everything about it. Excellent job on the blend as well.

Thanks to your perfect exposure time the texture on the water mimics the texture on the driftwood. Almost too good to be true (although I know it is).
