This is really gorgeous. I also see an alternate crop taking out the bright green portion at the top, making for a more abstract image...

I like this as well. Every spring I see the red buds in trees and hope to get a shot, but nothing yet. Your view has captured this nicely, with the added advantage of the evergreens breaking up the pattern of the other trees (beech Fagus sylvatica mostly?). Nice work.
Greg, Kristel has some shots without the green field on her www, I was thinking the same and decided to check it out.
Worth a look as some very nice stuff there.
