Rice Terraces

There are a few locations in China that just scream - CHINA, and this, I think, is one of them. The rice terraces of southern Yunnan - Carved from the steep hillsides covering thousands of acres, the Hani minority have constructed a manmade wonder.

First thought through my mind (having been born and raised Taiwan) was "Damned, that's a GREAT shot!"

The combination of the fog and the terraces make for a great shot. The almost-monochromatic nature adds nicely, too.
