This one would have been good for the last motif...

Image

This effect came about by alternating sharpening and diffuse filters than adding dry brush and texture filters. I think it kind of has a composite feel but I assure you all birds were in the scene and just out of the frame to the right was a Roseate Spoonbill, Reddish Egret and Little Blue Heron. I tried desperately to get them all in the frame at once but they were having too much fun eating!

Hope you enjoy!

Hi Andrew

A neat and effective image that comes over just so appealingly. Being hyper critical I think the overall effect would be better losing the bird upon the left, but that’s probably just me.

Thanks for sharing
Matthew

This one is really nice! Just enough "painting" to make it work. Must be a great photo too. :)

What I love about this one is the gentle diagonal swooping curve of the postures of the birds through the image from top right to bottom left, it makes for a very appealing composition and a very nice picture! 8)
