Platax pinnatus. The juvenile is black with an orange outline, 3-4 inches. It can lay flat and mimic dead leaves. The 15 inch adult is a somewhat boring flat silver and black fish (but they can be very photo worthy in large schools).
Exposing for the outline leaves a pretty dark background. I completed the BG in LR with an exposure brush and also accented the outlines. The fish adds the art as it swims with a fluttering motion and it can be hard to get the whole body in the frame. D2xs, 105 macro, f11, 1/250, Inon strobes, Aquatica housing. Stan
