I wanted to catch the full moon rising behind this redwood. It was close but not where I wanted it, so it got a little help. The tree was with the Canon 5D3, Canon 100-400 II at 100, ISO 250, f/8, 1/80. The moon was the Canon 7D2, 600mm II + 1.4X III, ISO 1600, f/5.6, 1/800, remote release in Live View. The color was that intense, thanks to smoke from several west coast fires augmented by general air pollution trapped under a high pressure dome.
