I guess it is a tree hollow by the definition I see on Wikipedia.

Hi and Welcome! Whatever it is, it's a neat picture. Looks like it holds water. I like the gnarly shapes and the little leaves around it. Quite an unusual point of view.
It's always nice to have some information about your process here, including camera, lens, exposure etc. And in this particular forum it's fun to hear what people have done to their pictures to change or enhance them, if you care to share. Or perhaps you see this as an "art" piece so you put here. That's good too!
