Is it a battle or a feeding and mating rituals?

Nice splendid action, though a higher ISO would have given a much sharper freeze.

Spectacular action-the glow works well. Really brings out the colors. I would not have guessed right off that it was a battle-interesting how similar it looks to maybe a feeding scene.

Obviously this is one image in a series, like 9 fps! There was no feeding/food transfer going on! Neither bird had food and there were a lot of feathers flying in other shots.
I liked this one because of the wing blur but also it was one of a few that shadows did not obscure the heads.
