Two Great Egrets in a territorial dispute, which is the norm at dusk on the Rookery Pond at Bosque. Mostly a straight shot with some cropping, and other adjustments in LR and Windows to give it a slightly more artsy feel.
Nikon D700, Nikon 500f4, 1.4TC, f4@1/100 sec.
All C&C welcome.

Gorgeous -- nice work capturing detail in the white plumage.

I like the soft dreamlike feel. The top GE is wonderful.
Nicely done.

Great shot, feeling, treatment. (I would Photoshop out the branch between them)
Thanks

Beautiful interaction and poses. Nice contrast. Agree with Steve- might look better witout the branch between them.

Lovely ethereal feel to the egret poses and almost luminous white plumage!

Wonderful interaction and artistic feel! I'd think about just shortening the branch a little.
