From most angles a Skimmers beak looks heavy and clunky. But from straight on (and with a closed beak) it looks very aerodynamic. I have tried to get a sharp image of the Skimmer flying towards me with a clear BG.
The grass was further blurred in LR.

Beautiful take on this skimmer Stan -- the foreground adds an attractive abstract quality.

Such grace. The head / beak position adds a lot as well.
Thanks

Great shot- love the angle-looks like a hang glider-or maybe that's backwards-a hang glider imitates the bird? Anyway, very nice presentation- love the foreground.
