Aspen swirl

I love playing around with multiple exposures.  This was 8-10 exposures made on the same frame. I moved the camera each time and also changed the focal length on the lens.  All in-camera with minimal post-processing.

Nikon D300 & Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6
f/11 @ 1/50 (multiple times), ISO 250

Wonderful idea with great results! Sounds like fun, too. I really like this and also think the round "twirl" at the top without the angled trunks would be a nice version in itself. Thanks for posting.

At first I thought is would be patterns on the bark. Cool effect!

A great effect with this subject. The central circle in the upper portion really defines the image.You Nikon folks have the ability to do multiple exposures on a single frame ,I wish Canon would offer this or maybe Sony.

Canon does this James with the 5D mark 3 anyway.  I think it limits you to nine exposures, if I remember correctly.
