I added a slight bit of texture to the image. I was trying to capture a sunset that was similar to a painting hanging in my sister-in-laws house in Truro,MA. I created this image for a post on Facebook ,to share my thoughts on todays passing of my sister-in-law,Nancy.

Terrific abstract, and a fine tribute. Well done!

So sorry for your loss- this is a really wonderful tribute. So soft and such a lovely peaceful mood. (It really says "Truro" too...have been there many times visiting friends)...May you all find tranquility and solace there, in your picture and in reality. It is a very healing place and this picture speaks of it.

Beautiful, and sad at the same time. Very lovely.

Peaceful, and a welcome departure from the normal NSN editors pick.
Thank You
