This was a simple close-up of a flower with some ants on it. - don't remember what kind.  Taken with a Panasonic LX7 . I started playing with it -used Topaz Impression and Photoshop "Twirl" , and some texture editing and made a quilty kind of thing. Then I went a little crazier, and twirled the quilt.  Don't know what I like best so I'll post the quilt first.

I was just going to say, now we know what you were doing through the winter when you couldn't get out! - sitting there quilting.  :D  and then I see that's what you call it!

Perhaps you could sell a book of quilt designs?  It looks great, and the permutations are endless! :P

Cool mosaic Cindy -- and a fine quilt! I just saw the original -- the ants really love that flower. :)

Quilt was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the thumbnail! Cool image!

I like the warping of the black frame. Cool look overall.
Mountain Bluet Centaurea montana was my guess looking at the quilt, then I saw your original and it does look like one.

Lots of fun Cynthia, I love the green and purple together and the warping of some of the frames.
