Nice base image! love those hummers! Some constructive thoughts...I see that you have used a texture selectively on the image, which is a good idea but....the texture, IMO, is a toothy paper texture that suggests the piece was painted or drawn on a toothy paper or canvas. So.....part of my brain asks "why is there no toothy texture on the bird" Of course, I know why, but it doesn't fit. My suggestion would be to use a real over the top artistic texture or treatment on the whole image and then let the bird emerge from it, as you have here.

What a gorgeous little bird. Beautiful colors, the leaves and background are so harmonious. I think a crop at the bottom, eliminating most of the foliage would help to focus in on the hummer- nothing wrong with a square crop now and then. I find the blurry foreground distracting. A very charming picture.

Though I think the suggestions offered are good, also I like this as presented.

I also like the repeated colors in the foliage and bird.
