Terrific design and colors, Darlene. Love the textures and shapes too- a very pleasing and original composition. The red pointy accents are a nice contrasty touch. Looks like a painting. Did you do some post processing?

Hi Cindy,
Thank you for your compliments! I replaced the background with a texture because the background was too distracting (shot in a public garden area). Post processing was done in Lightroom. I used a bit of softening because the Sigma Foveon sensor gives a lot of detail, but this was one time I did not want all the detail.

Kind regards,
Darlene

I love all the shapes, lines, and colours. Nice texture work and I especially like those tiny red thorns.

A fine abstract with lovely colour tones. Lovely contrast between the soft lines/shapes and the sharpness of the little prickles.

O'Keeffe like. Another vote for the thorns. Like the colors too.
