Chickadee Haiku

This came out with a pure white background, so I used Topaz Impression to give it more substance. I wish the Chickadee was facing more towards the viewer, but didn't really want to change it. 

I am thinking of a song (round) I know:

"As I Mee Walk-ed
On a May Morning,
I heard a Birde Sing. " (Thomas Ravenscroft 1609) (no cuckow :) )

Really hard to get the sense of the song without hearing the rhythms....

I like the placement of everything on the diagonal, and the blossoms are sooo pretty. Love the textured BG too:)

I like the comp at the diagonal and the bird's slightly open beak. Nice texture.

I agree with Carol. This is a beautiful note card. I have not gotten the hang of Topaz Impression. I do like this look, though. Keep them coming.

Nice work, Cindy! Very Asian! I like the font for the vertical signature. You might want to consider producing a "chop" of some kind, A red chop would really look good here somewhere below, maybe lower left corner. Nice!
