Looks like a full body Xray of the bird!
D4s, 400mm, f9, ss 1/1600, ISO 800, 200-400mm @ 400mm

The transparency is really nice. Lots of possibilities here -- taking the high key a little farther to a white bg, and inversion for example.

Love the feather details. It does stand out better in the shadowbox view. I also agree a lighter BG would make it stand out even more.

Thanks. Gary, I am not sure what an inversion is or if it can be done in LR.
Carol, funny you should see that, it is what my wife does so I am always trying to shoot things for her to draw!
