Lazing Bighorn

I stopped by the Badlands of South Dakota last month where this young ram was taking it easy just below the rim; out of the 45 mile and hour winds. Painted my photo using Corel Painter.

Lovely almost monochrome palette. I love the pose, the detail in the eye, and that hint of blue in the one horn.
