Simply Green Heron

Had the opportunity to shoot at the Click Ponds in Melbourne Florida this morning. While walking along one of the banks looking for some interesting birds to shoot I happened to look back at this Green Heron to see if I could get a clean shot. What I saw were these great lines leading to the heron. Two seconds later he moved.
I used a tidge of Fractalius by Redfield to give a more artsy appearance.

Hope you like this rendering.

I agree with your assessment- a charming scene with those leading lines-it gives a nice context forthe heron and greatly enhances the picture. Fractalius is very subtle! High key works well here. I do wonder how it would also look with a bit more contrast.

You need to click on this to bring in the darker surround, then it shows at its best. The different elements and flowing lines come together beautifully here Kathy!

You are right about the lines; like the pano crop too. Nice illustration look you did.
