In January, I was photographing eagles and noticed a nice view of the moon in the afternoon sky.  I wanted to capture an eagle crossing the moon, but that never happened, so I photographed the moon and the eagle in separate frames and brought the two together in this composite.  Please click on the image to view with dark surrounds. Thank you.

Lovely job combining the 2 images- gives an air of mystery to the Eagle- maybe a sort of mythological implication. THe angle of the Eagle works well with the moon. I wonder what would happen if you darkened the blue sky a bit to create more contrast and a "later in the day" feel? Might br fun to try.

Nice work!

Terrific composite -- I like Cindy's suggestion of darkening the image a bit.

Wonderful composite Ron, perfect for my tastes and beautifully presented. I love it as is with the delicate colours.

To darken the sky as suggested would create a totally different mood, and would undoubtedly be a lovely image, and interesting to see but your original is a winner in my book.
