Well, it's a while since my last visit! Anyway, I went on a trip last year to look for the elusive Dartford Warbler - the light was poor and most of the shots were backlit - ideal candidates for some digital pokery...

Indeed- well suited for a very nice creation. Love the back-lit look and the interesting textures. Beautiful colors too. My only question is where the eye might be- perhaps you could bring it out more... or even fake it, if the eye is indistinct. Otherwise a very charming piece.

Cynthia - I had the same thought regarding the eye - I'll see what I can do!

I too like the colors and textures. The back-lighting is very nice.

Hi Clive

You might just "burn" the dark area that I think is the eye, and add a little twinkle perhaps? :)

Nice to see you emerge from the depths of beautiful Norfolk again Clive! I love this, and as already said just define the eye a touch and it will make all the difference.

Lovely work. I love the colours, your painting, and a bit of detail in the eye would make it perfect!
