From the Barnett News Service; to be releases on or about April 1, 2015.

A dramatic find was uncovered a few years ago in Western South Dakota by Interstate 90. Recent dating shows the fossilized remains of a Homo sapiens and a T. rex to be from 65 million years ago. This pushes back the rise of modern man by millions of years. Scientists conjecture they were buried by debris thrown up by a near by meteor impact. Over the eons, iron from the soil replaced their bones to fossilize them into metal like skeletons. An iron ax and chain found at the site also showed that Iron Age started a lot earlier than thought.

The remains may be seen by I-90 about a half mile east of Exit 170 near Murdo, South Dakota. There just happens to be an 1880's ghost town theme park at that location.

This photo was taken a few years ago at sunset. It had been cloudy and rainy all day, but the clouds started to clear right at sunset. I did remove two 'A-frame" supports from the statue by cloning.

Awesome sky -- the perfect backdrop for this humorous scene. The domestication of T. Rex is quite an accomplishment too -- proof that he really was just a big chicken!

Wow- I can't wait for the rest of the world to find out! What an amazing discovery. And to think you are in on the very beginnings. ;))

I guess this proves that man domesticated wild animals sooner than we thought! :) Great find and love the fact that it's silhouetted rather than front lit. Nice work Jerry!

Observing and recording nature should always be done with awe and the knowledge that it is a privilege to just be there!
