By Boulder, Utah at the beginning of the Burr Trail; if I remember right. Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Digitally hand painted from my photo using Corel Painter. The brush jittered between angles of brush strokes and similar colors.

Like the sweeping circular motion of the brushstrokes- they really enliven the picture. The trees are dancing. Great colors too.
