I photographed a red-eyed tree frog by flashlight in Costa Rica a few years ago.  Then, two summers ago, we went to Glacier National Park, and I photographed the garden at the main lodge there.  I got a shot of a beautiful poppy with a black background.  I was playing around with a method of making "orbs" out of photos.  I liked them very much, but my husband said they needed something more to make them really interesting.  I used Topaz Remask to remove the frog from its background (easy, since the background was already black), moved it into the orb with the poppy, did some resizing and refining, and I had this photo.

Cool Effect. I like that the frog is looking at an insect on the flower.

Thanks for noticing!  Most people don't even notice that part of the picture.

Welcome!! This is a nicely done piece of work with lots to enjoy- nice the way you can look through the black "hole" in the sphere to witness a frog gazing at a bur on a flower, yet it is somewhat abstracted. Great colors.
