I photographed a red-eyed tree frog by flashlight in Costa Rica a few years ago. Then, two summers ago, we went to Glacier National Park, and I photographed the garden at the main lodge there. I got a shot of a beautiful poppy with a black background. I was playing around with a method of making "orbs" out of photos. I liked them very much, but my husband said they needed something more to make them really interesting. I used Topaz Remask to remove the frog from its background (easy, since the background was already black), moved it into the orb with the poppy, did some resizing and refining, and I had this photo.
