Painted a Photoshopped photo with Corel Painter. Used a palette knife digital brush. The knife's scrapings show up better on a larger size in my Google Plus post, see below.

Lovely painting of a difficult subject Jerry -- actually I prefer the NSN lightbox version which puts up a larger image and apparently has a larger file size. Beautiful work!

I agree on all counts!  Mallards are so often overlooked as 'common' ducks - but I love 'em!
