I learned my lesson about doing in-camera blurs and found out if you want the images to appear then you should shoot them on a black BG. I found this out after doing a dance shoot, and everyone ended up looking rather ghostly.  One frame, toned in b and w, then added some cool tones.  This is from my little garden, still hanging in.  I am loathe to prune everything back, it has brought me such joy this summer:)

Rather poignant, given your title....fading away.....
Beautifully done. I hope your garden continues to delight for a while yet.

Nicely done effect. Was this start and stop, or layers?

I have an orange one like this that opened just before a frost. It still has a few left, but all the similar cosmos got singed. Hard freeze coming soon here. Deer came through and ate a lot of my other remaining flowers a couple of nights ago.

Stop and start, but you do get some nice deer shots:)
