It is actually 15 foot tall pine. Misshaped and stunted growing out of a rock at Interstate Park on the St Croix River on the Minnesota side. Photo digitally hand painted over using Corel Painter

I like your subject and composition and colors. Brushwork is very nice too, though the strokes on the "Bonsai" make me a little dizzy. Probably just me.....

I like the vibrant green of the tree, and don't mind the brushstrokes (though I am not a painter). I wonder about a version with the tree a little less centered.
