I was so amused by this picture-looks like nautical flagging to me. Or maybe just signalling for a left turn.?

Canon 1D Mk IV, 400 5.6 lens.  Processed in Topaz Adjust with  portrait smooth, and texture added to background.

Very cool. The sandstone like background imitates matte paper texture. Catchlight in the eye also look quite nice.

Cute, I think it wants to be called on by its teacher;)
Maybe just a tad less texture so the tiling does not show.
