Very creative effect -- I definitely prefer your interpretation over the straight photo in the link, though I think a smidge of CW rotation might be in order. Cool process -- the soft clouds are especially nice.

Pretty cool- almost looks painted. Nice textures. Definitely more interesting than the original. Agree with Gary about the rotation...

Hey Cynthia and Gary! Thanks for your comments and input. I don't know about the rotation, but you may be right. Here is a link to photos of Church Rock and many of the images are oriented like mine, while others are not:
