Very realistic brush strokes. You have really done well here. Only wish the small areas at the talons and beak had been rendered more painterly with a few strokes.

Beautiful image Jerry --- I share Ashims view about the talons and feet which look a bit photographic against the brushwork of the main body. Lovely work.

Yes the talons were done with a finer brush, and at this size it is photo-realistic. Here is a redo where I touched up several things and reedited overall look.

Very nice brush work- the feathers look especially nice , retaining a feathered look that is a bit less detailed , therefore more dramatic. I wonder if you might want just a bit of texture in the sky to complete the painted look.
