I haven't done any textures in a long time.

Here is my post processing: Applied Texture Overlay- Topaz Sim-Oil Paint, Nik-Color Efex-Split Neutral Density to darken the lower half just a tidge. Nik-Color Efex-Duplex-(Gray) to make it look more like a painting.

Gorgeous image Kat --- love the texture. Very elegant image! The easiest way to add the original is simply to use Reply and insert the image there.

Nice painterly look! I used to grow them. To post the original, you need to click on "Post a Reply" (not "Quick Reply") and click on the icon to add an image. It can't be done in the original posting.

Well, actually it can, though a bit of trickery is required which most folks would probably find tedious... :)

Thanks for posting the instructions, Gary! I was going by this:

http://www.naturescapes.net/forums/view ... 4&t=227233

And another thread.

Now if I can only figure out what you said!!!!!  That will come in handy in this P&DA forum to show the starting image near the artsy one.

Ah Joe, your memory is too good! I believe the image button was removed from the topic editor to minimize the possibility that the original will be removed and a revision put up instead. Basically, you need the new uploaded image url, which you then insert between [img]...[/img] tags at the bottom of the topic post --- but don't quote me, I don't want to get in trouble!

Well, back to the processed image. (Interesting discussion on posting though....). I love what you did with this in a very painterly manner. It adds quite a bit of life to the original, though that is very lovely too.
