This prairie garden is by the entrance to Ft Snelling State Park, Minnesota. I digitally hand painted over a photo using Corel Painter. Please click on it to see the shadowbox version to see the paint texture. The texture is based on the image's luminance using a surface texture filter in Painter X3.

Like the "impressionistic" style brush work.

Gorgeous, Jerry. Lovely brushwork, beautifully impressionistic, nicely composed.

Beautiful scene, love the colours and composition - and for the impressionist fans this is a winner!

Very lively image Jerry --- I especially like the cone flowers. A great combination of colors, and the green has a nice sense of motion.

A beautiful subject and your technique is well executed. This is most definitely a wall hanger.
