I took this picture a very long time ago with a P&S. Have always loved it, as I was just floating along in my kayak with this beautiful Loon in the early misty morning. It seemed to be dozing with me, totally undisturbed. It is a rare privilege to have such a peaceful moment with a wild bird.

PS oil paint and canvas, Topaz simplify.

A very calm and soothing picture of nature. Well captured and presented.

Very nice comp with the bird lined up with the opening in the back.
I think it was keeping an eye on you.

Hi Jerry

Thanks- I actually took the liberty of making the eye a bit bigger-it was just a slit, almost closed. Nevertheless, I'm sure it was very aware of me- they always are. :)

Very nice Cynthia. I like the soft colors and the composition. The reflected green in the water really sets the Loon apart.
