Digitally hand painted photo; letting some of the photo show through the lily part. Corel Painter and Photoshop were used. This daylily has made it through 2 winters in my flower bed, and although slow growing, its a keeper. This is a rejected trial hybrid developed by my cousin. He was going for a larger more robust plant.

Very nice Jerry.
I love the color of the flower and also the angle where all the stamens are separate.

Lovely spidery bloom --- I agree with Vasanthi about the stamens. Very nice!

Definitely a keeper Jerry! You can keep the 'larger more robust plants' - its the more delicate nature of this one that I find so appealing. Clicking on the image to bring in the darker surround really makes it sing!
A beauty in my book.

So bright and cheery- lovely flower and a fine rendition. The light on this is beautifully done.
