Lovely flower and I love your technique, for my tastes I would prefer a touch more colour in this sunflower rather than the washed out appearance.  Personal preferences are so diverse when it comes to art. 8)

Carol, I wanted this look.   Since, Mexican sunflower are dark orange blooms, I had to run Analog Pro to get this look.

I realise you wanted the pale look, just a touch too pale for me on a sunflower.  As I said, art is a very personal thing. :wink:

For my personal tastes this is better!  but as I said - its just my personal tastes.  If we all liked the same pictures and artistic style the world would be a very boring place.  Both images are lovely but I would choose the second one for hanging on my wall.  :P
