A creek had flooded a wooded part of a park by Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis last week. This maple under the larger trees caught my eye and an egret waded by as I took the picture of their reflections. Hand painted photo using Corel Painter.

Striking image Jerry --- the egret really stands out against the dark background. The bright green adds a lot of interest too!

I like the treatment on the tree. The green is lovely and the dark bg makes it stand out.
Egret makes it special.

Gorgeous colors, Jerry. Well executed in a painterly manner-the Egret really sparks it up too. Nice work!

Terrific brush strokes, particularly on the tree and reflection, which provide a very painterly, artistic appearance. The egret is the perfect compliment. Very nice.

Love the brush work and those vibrant greens are so beautiful! The Egret is the icing.
