Both images very pretty, Joe- an interesting way to present the trio in a triangular shape. Would make a nice decal, perhaps.

Joe, these roses look very nice after applying the filter, but I would consider including and filtering all of the green foliage depicted in your original image.  This almost triangular crop appears a little awkward, and I think that a square crop including all the foliage depicted originally would be much more pleasing to the eye.  Just my 2 cents.

The shape you've chosen makes me think of a box of chocolates!
