D7100, 300/4D + 1.4TC, 1/1600, f/8, ISO 1000

I was out trying to get some birding practice; found this too. Took the color image to b&w then played with the tone curve and contrast.

I like the strong contrasts -makes this more than just an B+W photo-adds a bit of mystery to it.

The high contrast adds a feeling of tension to the image - I like it!
