Emerging leaves of Mockorange.
Used the OOB technique.

Cindy, I could not resist myself using the OOB.

It has been six months since I first started posting in P&DA.  You were all wonderful to me and encouraged me.  Your kind words, comments, appreciation and hints helped me to improve.  Your images were a real inspiration to me.  I started in the Macro forum but ended up posting more images here.

Thanks a lot.

Excellent pop-out Vasanthi --- I like that the black boundary is a bit warped contributing to a slightly surreal feel.

Big grin! This is really entertaining Vasanthi! I'm so glad you're enjoying P&DA and making these wonderful contributions. You really got the OOB thing down it seems to pop right out of the background. Looking forward to more. (By the way-we used to see a lot more of this kind of work some years ago- it's really fun to find more of it here now.)

I agree, it is nice to have a variety of people posting so we can get inspiration from one another.

I also like the curve of the box, because it goes with the curve of the leaf. Perhaps make the box three dimensional?

Jerry, I have always thought of adding a shadow to the frame.  Next time I will do a 3D frame.  Thanks a lot.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

This technique works so well with this wonderful shape! It really does appear to be trying to pull itself free from the frame.

We have enjoyed seeing your work and creative mind Vasanthi. Is it really 6 months, the time has flown by!
